1. Who we are
Mathmino is a mobile app for practising mathematics. The purpose of the app is to help children and other users practise math exercises, track their progress and review mistakes.
The app is developed by MG Software Apps. The Google Play package identifier is cz.mgsoftwareapps.mathmino.
2. Data stored by the app
The app may store data locally on the user’s device that is necessary for the app to work properly:
- practice results,
- answer history, including correct and incorrect answers,
- app settings, such as language, difficulty or number of exercises,
- information about whether premium features are active in the app.
This data is used to show practice history, statistics, mistake review and recommendations for further practice. This data is not sent to our own server.
3. Data we do not collect
Mathmino does not require and does not intentionally collect:
- name,
- email address,
- phone number,
- contacts,
- precise or approximate location,
- photos, videos or audio recordings,
- school account information,
- payment card or bank details.
4. Local data storage
Practice results and settings are stored locally on the user’s device. The app does not use our own backend server to receive or store this practice data.
The user can remove locally stored data by clearing the app data in the device settings or by uninstalling the app. Depending on the user’s device or Google account settings, some local app data may be included in the device system backup. This behaviour is controlled by the operating system and the user’s settings.
5. Premium features and payments
If the app offers premium features, purchases are processed through Google Play. We do not receive the user’s payment card number, bank details or other payment details.
The app may receive technical information from Google Play that is necessary to verify the purchase and unlock premium features. Payment processing and related data are handled according to Google’s policies.
6. Analytics, ads and tracking
Mathmino currently does not use its own advertising system, does not profile users for advertising and does not sell personal data to third parties.
If we add analytics, crash diagnostics, advertising or another third-party service in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before publishing such a version of the app.
7. Device permissions
Mathmino does not require access to the camera, microphone, contacts, photos, SMS or precise location.
Internet access may be used to open this Privacy Policy link, for Google Play functionality or to verify a purchase if premium features are available.
8. Children and privacy
The app is also intended for children. It is designed so that it can be used without creating an account and without entering a child’s personal information.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided us with personal data, they can contact us at [email protected]. If we discover that we have received such data, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Practice data is not sent to our own server and is not shared with other parties for marketing purposes.
Technical data related to premium purchases may be processed by Google Play according to Google’s policies.
10. Security
We aim to process only the data necessary for the app to function. Local data is stored in the app’s storage area on the device. However, no method of data storage or transmission can be considered absolutely secure.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when adding new features, premium content, analytics or other services. The current version will always be available on this page.
